DIGIPASS PLUS secures web applications, SSL VPNs,
online portals, and other systems in an efficient
and cost-effective manner—without the overhead
implementation and maintenance expenses commonly
associated with Two-Factor Authentication solutions.
DIGIPASS Plus is a hosted authentication solution,
meaning any implementation and maintenance tasks are
managed by VASCO itself.
This outsourced solution
frees users from having to budget for costly servers
or technical support resources. Instead,
authentication servers are hosted and maintained
directly by VASCO. Users only pay a fee for this
service. Additionally, authentication devices are
ready for use right out of the box, as they come
preprogrammed and fully-integrated with the
customer’s environment.
From the client side to the server side, any
organization can benefit from VASCO’s DIGIPASS PLUS
authentication products.
DIGIPASS Plus is available in two forms:
- Client-Based Authentication Services
- In this option, users store different
authentication application credentials on their
own devices, including PCs, mobile phones, and
PDAs.
- Server-Based Authentication Services
- In this option, users log into an
authentication server, which is protected by a
One-Time Password (software or hardware). Once
connected and authenticated to the server, users
are redirected to specific applications based on
their credentials and access privileges.
